The problem
Businesses often write about what they want to say, not what customers type into Google. The gap means good businesses stay invisible.
Step by step
- Write down every question customers have asked you this year.
- Look at Google’s "People also ask" and suggested searches for your main service and town.
- Ask the AI to group the questions by topic and stage: researching, comparing, ready to buy.
- Check search volumes in a keyword tool if you have one.
- Pick the five questions you can answer best and plan a page or post for each.
The prompt
I run {business name}, a {type of business} in {town}.
Here are questions customers ask and searches I have seen:
{list}
Group them into topics. For each topic say whether people are researching, comparing or ready to buy, and suggest one page or post that would answer it. Do not invent search volumes.
Replace the {highlighted} parts with your details, or fill them in with the prompt builder.
Check before you use it
- The AI has not invented numbers.
- Suggested pages fit what you really offer.
Privacy
- Nothing private needed.
Do’s and don’ts
Do
- Start with questions you hear every week.
- Write one great answer instead of five thin ones.
- Check Google Search Console to see what you already show up for.
Don’t
- Trust search volumes an AI makes up.
- Target towns or services you do not cover.
- Repeat the keyword unnaturally on the page.
When not to use AI for this
AI cannot see real search data on its own. Use it to organise ideas, and a keyword tool or Google Search Console for actual numbers.
