The problem

Social media is the job that always gets pushed to tomorrow. When it is finally done, it is rushed and inconsistent.

Step by step

  1. List what is happening this month: new products, events, seasonal moments, behind-the-scenes stories, customer questions.
  2. Pick how often you will realistically post, for example twice a week.
  3. Ask the AI for a calendar that mixes useful, behind-the-scenes and promotional posts.
  4. Ask for first drafts in your voice for each post, then add your own photos.
  5. Schedule them in the platform’s own scheduler or a free tool.

The prompt

I run {business} in {town}. This month: {list of things happening}.
Plan {number} posts for {platform} for {month}. Mix: 50% useful tips, 30% behind the scenes, 20% offers.
For each post: date, idea, caption under 60 words in a {tone} tone, and a photo I should take. Do not invent events or offers.

Replace the {highlighted} parts with your details, or fill them in with the prompt builder.

Check before you use it

  • Every offer, date and price is real.
  • Captions sound like you; cut anything that sounds generic.
  • Hashtags are relevant and few.

Privacy

  • Do not post customer photos or names without permission.

Do’s and don’ts

Do

  • Give the AI your real events, offers and dates for the month.
  • Use your own photos where you can.
  • Batch the month in one sitting and schedule it.

Don’t

  • Post AI images of products or dishes that look better than the real thing.
  • Let it invent discounts or deadlines.
  • Copy trending hashtags without checking what they are about.

When not to use AI for this

If a post is about a sensitive local event, write it yourself.
